Princess Eugenie has welcomed her second child with her husband Jack Brooksbank, announcing the news in an adorable social media post.
The late Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter welcomed her son Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank to the world on May 30, as she shared a snap of the newborn alongside his big brother August who was born in February 2021.
As the daughter of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah the Duchess of York, Princess Eugenie was delighted to share the news with royal fans at the couple's second child after August, and the sweet and sentimental reasons behind his name.
She wrote on her Instagram alongside the snaps: "Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1lbs.
"He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald. Augie is loving being a big brother already," alongside a series of blue and red hearts.
In the second picture of the Instagram post, it showed a sweet moment between August and his little brother as he lay in his Moses basket where August gently caressed his head. And it didn't take long for people to flood the comments section with their well-wishes.
YouTube star Louise Pentland wrote: "Congratulations! What a gorgeous boy! Xxx"
One fan added: "What a beautiful baby! Congratulations x," whilst another royal fan penned: "What a beautiful boy! Welcome to the world, baby Ernest," as they shared red hearts on the post.
