Prince William and Prince Harry’s cousin Lady Amelia Spencer has been seen for the first time since her dad missed her wedding.
The 30-year-old and her fiancé Greg Mallett, also 30, got married at La Cotte Farm, in South Africa on Tuesday.
They tied the knot and celebrated with close family and friends at the farm, with guests sharing stunning snaps of the bride and groom at a post-wedding celebration on Wednesday.
It isn’t known if any of the senior royals were at the wedding however, and Lady Amelia’s father, Earl Spencer, was absent from proceedings too.
In his first post since the wedding he tweeted a photo of Althorp. He said: “Early morning March light, at Althorp’s Round Oval lake.”
He also shared a video showing animals on the lake, writing: "Duck, geese, swans - and, in the distance, coots and moorhens. Early morning life on the lake, at @AlthorpHouse."
Earl Spencer, Princess Diana’s younger brother, also did not attend his eldest daughter’s wedding, when Lady Kitty married millionaire Michael Lewis in 2021.
It sparked rumours there may have been tensions between the father-of-seven and his children from his first marriage.
A source told MailOnline at the time: "Kitty and Charles were very close when she was growing up, but their relationship has cooled and been more distant since his marriage to his third wife Karen in 2011.
"Charles recently suffered an injury and perhaps that will be the reason for him not travelling, but it is just easier for everyone that he is not there.
"The four children are all close to their mother Victoria and get on well with their step siblings, and their Spencer aunts and have forged their own relationships with one another without needing Charles to bind them together."
Lady Kitty, meanwhile, was walked down the aisle by her brother Louis Spencer, 29, and half sibling Samuel Aitken in absence of her father.
Lady Amelia's mum Victoria Aitken was also not in yesterday's photos but was reportedly included on the guest list for Lady Kitty's wedding.
In one picture during the celebrations, Amelia, Princess Diana’s niece, wore a halter-neck white sequin gown with a dramatic scooped back.
Her new husband Greg beamed in another photo, wearing a stylish black suit and white trainers.
Hairdresser Jack Merrick-Thirlway shared a number of pictures of the wedding on his Instagram.
He posed with the couple and loved ones, calling Amelia “the most beautiful bride” and shared a picture of Greg saying: “I mean, just look at him!”
Another image showed Amelia’s twin, Lady Eliza, and over the weekend the sisters started their wedding celebrations in Cape Town.
In one photo, posing with his then future wife, Greg said: “You'll never not make me laugh. And I will never stop looking at you in awe.”
The couple, who have been together for 11 years, exchanged kisses next to a pool in a series of photos shared on Instagram.
Another wedding guest, makeup artist Jacinta Spencer, a friend not a relation, posed with Lady Amelia with the sun setting behind them.
She wrote: “The most beautiful pre-wedding reception for you. I love you with all my heart.”
The happy couple have previously attended several other weddings at the same exclusive venue.
The farm venue has a history dating back to the 17th century, as it was one of eleven given to French immigrants who fled their native country.
It can accommodate 102 guests with its on site facilities.
