The royals are always under intense scrutiny when out on official duties but none more so than during Queen Elizabeth II's funeral. Hours of footage of the mourning party and the day's events followed and some have spotted a childlike act that is reported to have caused frowns from some onlookers during the occasion.
The incident was said to have involved the royal children, Princess Charlotte and Prince George, whose glimmer of 'bad behaviour' meant mum, Kate Middleton, was reportedly 'scolded' by a senior member of the royal family.
On Monday, September 19, Princess Charlotte, seven, and her older brother Prince George, nine, surprised the world when they took part in the long-reigning monarch's state funeral possession. However, according to MyLondon, when the two eldest children of the Prince and Princess of Wales reached Westminster’s Welling Arch, George appeared to pinch his sister.

Princess Charlotte yelped out in pain and swiftly turned around to stare at George, before facing forwards to say: "Ow!" Some royals who spotted the exchange are said to have smiled at the pair. The Mirror wrote that "Meghan Markle saw the cute side of it, as she tilted her head and smiled at the young siblings", however others found the exchange rude and unnecessary, according to the publication.
An annoyed Queen Consort Camilla, is rumoured to have frowned and pointed at Charlotte, before giving the Princess of Wales a harsh stare. Camilla then frowned and pointed at the seven-year-old before turning to Kate and saying: "Take her."
The moment was also captured on live TV and eagle-eyed viewers of the state funeral were quick to take to social media to comment. One person tweeted: "Looks like Prince George and Princess Charlotte have a small disagreement. Look at The Queen Consort , Camilla." While another said: "What did Charlotte say when she turned back around? Was it wow? Ow? Cow?".
The usually immaculately behaved royal children have attended various high profile events recently including the late sovereign’s Platinum Jubilee in June.
