Royal fans have claimed Princess Charlotte adorably resembles other members of the royal family - including a young Queen.
Charlotte beamed for the camera in a series of pictures released to mark her seventh birthday.
The stunning images were captured by keen amateur photographer Kate and showed the young royal sitting happily in a field of spring blooms in Norfolk over the bank holiday weekend.
Many said Charlotte looks the spitting image of her mum the Duchess of Cambridge in an adorable picture taken at a similar age.
While others have said she is the image of her father - and even a seven year old Queen.
One commented: "She is Prince William with long hair. Happiest birthday sweet Princess Charlotte!"
While another said: "She looks like her dad Prince William and her daddy The Queen."
Another well-wisher said: "Princess Charlotte is the spitting image of Prince William. I do see some resemblance of her with the Queen. Wishing Princess Charlotte a wonderful birthday celebration."
Others also said the young Princess resembles Lady Sarah Chatto - the only daughter of Princess Margaret and the niece of the Queen.
Lady Chatto, 58, is also godmother to Prince Harry.
Her parents say they are “delighted” to share the three new photos ahead of the little princess turning seven on Monday.
Princess Charlotte has her arm around the family cocker spaniel, Orla, in one of the pictures.
In the picture featuring Orla, the dog - who has a black shiny coat - is looking to its right while Charlotte grins towards the camera, holding flowers in her left hand.
In one of the other pictures Charlotte is sitting cross-legged, while in the final picture she is sitting with her arms around her knees.
Orla is not the family's first pet.
William and Kate's's previous dog Lupo - a wedding present from Kate's brother James - died in November 2020.
The couple announced the death of Lupo in a rare personal post on their Instagram account.
The Cambridge family spend much of their time away from London at their Norfolk home of Anmer Hall on the Queen's Sandringham estate.
However, William and Kate reportedly want to move into a refurbished cottage minutes away from the Queen at Windsor.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to keen on moving to Adelaide Cottage as it is well-suited to a family of five and just 10 minutes form the Queen.
Adelaide Cottage is officially owned by the Queen but is usually used as a guesthouse for friends of the royals.
Will and Kate currently move between Anmer Hall at Sandringham in Norfolk, and West London's Kensington Palace, and are now looking for a proper family home.
A royal insider told The Sun : "Finding a way to make Adelaide Cottage work seems to be the best and only option.
"There are issues with all the other houses, so Adelaide will be the favourite."
