The end of the school year can be an emotionally charged occasion, as youngsters wave goodbye to their pals for the summer break. And that feeling is only magnified for pupils starting at a new school in the autumn.
Such is the situation Prince George, eight, and seven-year-old Princess Charlotte may well find themselves in having finished the term at Thomas's Battersea. The royal pair have both been at the school since they were four years old.
But that might be coming to an end amid reports in the Mirror that both kids could be starting at a brand new school in September - and may have waved goodbye to friends at Thomas's for the last time. Rumours are rife that parents Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to move the family from London to Windsor.
