The husband of Princess Beatrice has shared an unseen picture of the Queen and her beloved husband Prince Philip on his wedding day.
Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi also posted a heartfelt tribute to the monarch, following her death on Thursday at the age of 96.
The Queen enjoyed a close relationship with Beatrice and her husband shared a number of family pictures as he hailed the UK's longest-serving sovereign as "incredible".
Edo shared a range of photos with his 100,000 Instagram followers, including one of the Queen driving as a young woman and another with her much-loved corgis. Another showed the Queen in a mint green outfit with her husband arriving for Edoardo's July 2020 wedding to Princess Beatrice.
He wrote on Instagram: "Incredibly hard to process the last 24 hours.
"What an incredible woman and extraordinary mark she’s left on the entire world. She was the rock on which modern Britain was built.
"Feeling very lucky our little ones got to spend time with her this summer. Rest is Peace Your Majesty. We will miss you so much.
"Broken hearted."
The post has garnered thousands of likes from well wishers passing on their own condolences to the family.
One replied: "Sending you , Princess Beatrice and family our deepest condolences from Australia.
"We are heartbroken too been crying all night."
Another responded: "Sending so much love to your family.
"The loss of a beloved grandmother is like no other. My heartfelt condolences."
The image of the Queen, resplendent in mint green, was taken from his 2020 wedding when he wed the Queen's granddaughter in a small service in Windsor.
The monarch was among a group of 20 guests including Prince Philip and Prince Andrew.
The couple's original wedding was cancelled due to the coronavirus lockdown.
Her father the Duke of York walked her down the aisle and hosted a reception at his then home The Royal Lodge, Windsor.
Edoardo's toddler son Wolfie was best man and pageboy.
