Buckingham Palace announced on Tuesday that Princess Beatrice, aged 36, is pregnant with her second child. She and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are thrilled to share the news of their expanding family, with the baby expected to arrive in early spring.
The new addition will join their 3-year-old daughter Sienna and 8-year-old Wolfie, Edoardo's son from a previous relationship. Both families, including King Charles III, have expressed their joy at the upcoming arrival.
Princess Beatrice, who is ninth in line to the British throne, is the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York. She tied the knot with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a private ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor, in July 2020.
