Prince William made a cheeky remark to Kate's father on the day of the Royal couple's wedding, a royal biography reveals.

It's usual to feel nervous on your wedding day, and even more so if you're marrying into the royal family with millions of people watching around the world. Fortunately, Kate Middleton had her dad Michael by her side when she made her way into Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011, to marry her prince, reports The Mirror.

Ahead of the service, Kate travelled by car with her father from the Goring Hotel, down The Mall to Parliament Square. She walked down the aisle clutching her father's hand in her sensational wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, adorned with lace trim and paired perfectly with an understated veil.
