Following the death of the Queen last month, Prince William and Kate have inherited a "hidden" estate tucked away in rural Wales.
Purchased by the Duchy of Cornwall in 2007, Llwynywermod Estate is made up of three cottages, a barn and a main house, surrounded by 192 acres of Welsh countryside.
During those years, King Charles III and his wife Camilla stayed at the tranquil farmhouse many times and ingratiated themselves with locals who were thrilled to have prominent members of the Royal Family as neighbours.
Wales Online reports that the pair frequently chose to spend time there around St David's Day in March each year - and during each stay, Charles, being the Prince of Wales, would have a number of royal duties to carry out.
After the Queen's death last month, Prince William has now inherited the title of Prince of Wales, as well as Duke of Cornwall, Earl of Chester and Duke Rothesay.
This means he now owns the Duchy of Cornwall - which is a private estate established in 1337 by Edward III. The eldest surviving son of the monarch is always given the Duke of Cornwall title, and with this in mind, Kensington Palace has confirmed the full Duchy Estate now belongs to Prince William, including the Llwynywermod Estate on the outskirts of Myddfai.
When the Duchy of Cornwall purchased the estate 15 years ago for £1.2m, it was after a very lengthy search.
King Charles had reportedly spent around 40 years searching for the perfect countryside retreat before settling on Llwynywermod, parts of which can actually be booked out by families or couples looking for a relaxing break.
Residents of Myddfai apparently spoke highly of Charles when the news came of his mother's death last month.
He used to attend church services on Sunday mornings with the minimum of fanfare, donated prizes for local raffles, and also how he officially opened the new village hall.
However, some people were concerned that being King, he won't have as many opportunities to visit.
But, now that the Llwynywermod Estate belongs to the new Duke of Cornwall, it’s possible that the residents of Myddafi will see less of Charles and Camilla but a lot more of William and Kate.
The couple have never had a home in Wales despite having three in England. However, they did spend three years living in Anglesey in north Wales in 2013 when William was stationed there in the RAF.
They've vowed to visit Wales regularly, and plan to take a trip to Cardiff before Christmas. What they will do with Llwynywermod Estate is not yet entirely clear, but the couple are keen to use their new platform to promote Wales as much as possible.
