Kate Middleton and Prince William will make one big Coronation move to stop another “offshoot like Harry ”, one royal expert has said.
In an effort to stop another royal feeling like a “spare” the Prince and Princess of Wales will want to ensure Prince Louis doesn’t feel left out, royal commentator Angela Mollard said.
They added that the parents have long shown the central importance of family to their brand, and suggested that they should use the Coronation to ensure second-born son Louis doesn’t end up going the same route as Harry.
She said they could give Louis a memory of the ceremony that will help strengthen his bond with the monarchy, to ensure he’s there later in life when big brother George is king.
Ms Mollard said that having all three children appear in the Coronation will further help avoid any rifts between the siblings.
This comes after reports that all three children of the future king will be present in the Coronation.
Leaked plans show that George, Charlotte, and Louis will join King Charles and Camilla as they leave Westminster Abbey at the ceremony on May 6.
The Daily Express reported Ms Mollard said: "George needs to be braced and supported by his siblings.
"The whole brand of the Waleses is very much, 'we're a family, we do it all together. We do not want an offshoot like Harry in the future'."
While George and Princess Charlotte were likely to be handed a role for their grandfather's Coronation, Louis' young age left commentators wondering whether Kate and William would involve their youngest son.
Speaking to Sky Australia's The Royal Report, Ms Mollard said: "Some people might say four-year-old Louis was so funny, he's the cutest - it's like, do you make that decision to take your kids to a posh restaurant?
"Yes, you do, because it's going to be funny but more than that.
"It's going to make sure that Louis has a memory of the Coronation so when his big brother takes on that role, he and Charlotte are there to support him.”
It was long expected that future king Prince George would attend the coronation, but it wasn’t known previously that his siblings would play a role too.
George and Charlotte became the youngest members of the royal family to ever join a funeral procession when they took part in the Queen’s funeral last year - but Louis was considered to young.
The Times first reported the news that the siblings would be on public display at the Coronation.
While the youngsters' presence has not been confirmed by Kensington Palace, documents show that after leaving the abbey, they were expected to join their parents in a carriage behind a Gold State Coach transporting the King and Queen.
Louis, who will be turning five shortly before the coronation, made his official debut during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
He appeared on the carriage escorting Kate and Camilla to Trooping the Colour last June alongside George and Charlotte.
