Prince William and Harry's 'forgotten' stepsister who attended Queen's funeral

All over the world, royal fans have been watching Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral as the Queen's life and reign was celebrated in a service at Westminster Abbey, before her coffin was taken from London to Windsor, for a Committal Service at St George's Chapel.

Viewers have seen numerous members of the Royal Family come together throughout the day to honour Britain's longest-reigning monarch, but amongst the many guests at the funeral, there were also a few lesser-known relatives - including Prince Harry's and Prince William's 'forgotten' stepsister, Laura Lopes.

Laura and her brother Tom Parker Bowles are the stepsister and stepbrother of William and Harry and the pair live their lives firmly away from the spotlight.

In case you didn't know, Laura and Tom are the children of the Queen Consort and her ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles.

Before marrying our new King in 2005, Camilla was married to Andrew from 1973 to 1995 and they had two children.

Tom has become a well-known food writer and often appears on food and cookery TV shows, but Laura prefers to lead a more private life.

She was educated at a Catholic girls boarding school in Dorset, and then studied History of Art and Marketing at Oxford Brookes University.

Laura has previously worked as Tatler’s motoring correspondent before moving into the art world.

She first managed The Space Gallery in London and then co-founded London's Eleven Gallery in 2005, where she was also a director.

Laura married chartered accountant Harry Lopes in Wiltshire in 2006. On their wedding day, Laura wore an Anna Valentine dress – the same designer worn by her mother when she married Prince Charles in 2005.

Both William and Harry were guests at her wedding and she attended both of their nuptials. Her daughter, Eliza, was even a bridesmaid at William and Kate's wedding when she was just four.

Laura and Harry are also parents to twins Gus and Louis, born in 2009, with Camilla doting on all of her grandchildren.

And although Laura is not a royal, she could be in line to inherit two stately homes

That's because her husband Harry, the son of a baron, is set to take over Gnaton Hall in Devon, as well as the Skelpick estate in the Scottish Highlands.
