Prince Harry is going to be at King Charles' Coronation - but it's highly unlikely he is going to get a warm welcome.
Buckingham Palace was pleased to announce that Harry will be part of the congregation inside Westminster Abbey on May 6 to watch his father and Queen Camilla being crowned.
According to insiders, Harry knew he would regret not attending and was cutely aware that the historic occasion will be "pretty much the most important day" of the King's life.
The Duke of Sussex won't have many allies at the extravagant event, as wife Meghan Markle will remain at home in California with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Sources close to the royals claims most have "no interest" in talking to Harry "beyond basic greetings" - and he will have to come face-to-face with those he has made strong allegations against.
Queen Camilla
No one has been safe from Prince Harry's accusations, but some of his strongest criticism has come against Queen Camilla.
There were more than 60 mentions of Camilla in memoir Spare - and the Duke of Sussex does not hold back his dislike for 'the Other Woman'.
Harry once pondered if she would become his "wicked stepmother" and says she would throw people under the bus to sit on the throne - and even turned his bedroom into her dressing room.
He claimed he and William begged Charles not to marry Camilla but they said they would welcome her into the family, and eventually only wanted her to be happy so she could be less "dangerous".
In a TV interview, Harry added: "She was the villain. She was the third person in their marriage. She needed to rehabilitate her image."
Sources said the King was outraged at how his son spoke about his wife - saying it "crossed the line".
There may also be added tension now seeing as Camilla's grandchildren will have important roles at the Coronation, while Harry's did not even get an invitation.
Cameras will definitely be on this pair if they come into contact at any point of the day.
King Charles
Harry wants to be present for the biggest day in his father's life - and will hope it goes some way to mending their burnt bridges.
Charles came under fire in Harry's book and Netflix series, with the duke alleging that his father and brother were conspiring against him.
Harry wrote about the night his father told him that his mother had died and how he did not hug him.
Charles is said to have told his sons not to make his final years a misery and made a joke to Diana after Harry was born - saying his work was done now he had an heir and a spare.
The King also reportedly jokingly questioned whether he was Harry's father and made a joke in 'poor taste' about rumours James Hewitt is his real dad.
During an American TV interview, Harry accused his father of being cold, revealing his parenting technique is to 'smother' his kids with 'love and affection', and claimed he "doesn't speak the same language" as the rest of his family.
It all got too much for Charles, who decided to kick Harry and Meghan out of Frogmore Cottage - the home which was gifted to them by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Royal sources have claimed Charles took decisive action immediately after being passed a dossier of findings by aides revealing details from Harry's explosive book and left the couple "stunned" by the move.
An insider said: "It was the last straw. Harry was well aware how Camilla would be a red line for his father and he crossed with flagrant disregard anyway. The King felt without a doubt it crossed a line – it was the ultimate act of disrespect."
While there is clearly beef, one royal source with knowledge of the Coronation plans said the King was "likely to be delighted" that Harry would attend.
The insider said: "The King has previously spoken of loving both his sons and that remains the case. Harry would have deeply regretted not attending the ceremony."
Prince William
Coronation organisers clearly realise their is tension between Harry and Prince William, so are trying to keep them as far apart as possible.
Although awkwardly the brothers will be staying just 700 yards away from each other, with Harry at Frogmore Cottage for one last time, which is very close to William and Kate's Windsor home of Adelaide Cottage.
Referred to as 'Willy' in Spare, Harry accused his brother of plotting with their father and revealed details of that sensational reported fight.
William allegedly pushed him to the floor during a row at his Kensington Palace home, leaving him with a ripped necklace and bruises.
Harry said William and Kate encouraged him to wear a Nazi costume to a fancy dress party, which sparked outrage in 2005.
The Duke also discussed being told by William to pretend he didn't know him at Eton and mocked his older brother's 'alarming' thinning hair.
Harry reportedly wanted to speak to his brother before confirming whether he would attend the Coronation, but it appears his demand was not met.
Organisers are reportedly keen to make sure there aren't any public rows on the big day, so much so that Harry will be sat several rows back from his brother.
They also want to stop the brothers being in any single camera shot, so any potential smirks, sideways glances or awkward stares won't be broadcast to the entire world.
Princess Kate
Harry and Kate used to have an incredibly strong relationship - and seemed destined for good things with Meghan when the 'Fab Four' was first formed.
But relations quickly started to sour and Harry revealed a number of rows between Meghan and the Princess of Wales in his book.
Meghan reportedly upset Kate after she had given birth in 2018 by saying she must have 'baby brain' because of her hormones.
While Harry claimed Kate admitted she made Meghan cry during a row over bridesmaids dresses before her wedding - and his niece Charlotte burst into tears.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confessed they were also jealous of the furnishing William and Kate had in their home, while they had to make do with shopping at IKEA.
They was very little interaction between Harry and Kate at the late Queen's funeral, so the same would be expected at the Coronation.
Prince Andrew
Prince Harry might have to spend a lot of time with his disgraced uncle Andrew.
As non-working royals, Andrew and Harry won't be allowed onto the Buckingham Palace balcony with the rest of the family.
However, the outcasts might not be best pals as the Duke of Sussex hit out at the Duke of York when discussing his own security arrangements.
In 2021, Andrew paid millions to settle a US civil case brought by his accuser Virginia Giuffre.
The Duke of York stepped down from public duties following the fallout from his disastrous BBC interview with Emily Maitlis, where he was questioned about his friendship with paedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
He has always denied any allegations and has said he had no recollection of ever meeting Giuffre.
Writing about his uncle in Spare, Harry said: "He was embroiled in a shameful scandal, accused of the sexual assault of a young woman, and no one had so much as suggested that he lose his security.
"Whatever grievances people had against us, sex crimes weren't on the list."
Awkwardly, Harry also said Meghan believed Andrew was the late Queen's personal assistant during their first meeting because he was carrying her handbag.
It might be a bit tense with Andrew, but his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, are said to be the only two royals who might actually give him the time of day.
