The Duke of Sussex will reportedly reach out to his brother Prince William on his 41st birthday despite the feuding brothers allegedly not speaking for months.
Royal butler Grant Harrold, who worked for the Royal Family for seven years, believes the two princes might make amends to "fix" any troubles between them as William celebrates his first birthday as the Prince of Wales.
Harry and William shared a very close bond until their relationship slowly deteriorated after the Duke and Duchess of Susssex stepped down from the Firm in 2020.
The distance between the two of them has only grown bigger both physically and mentally as Harry now lives thousands of miles away from his family in Montecito California while the Wales family have settled in Windsor.
Relations between the two royals were strained even further after Harry made a series of shocking allegations and claims against his relatives in his bombshell memoir Spare as well as the Sussexes' interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Sources from both sides have both previously told the Telegraph that Harry and William's relationship is "at rock bottom" as they added: "The two brothers have not spoken for months."
Despite this, Mr Harrold said he "hand on heart" believes that Harry will contact his older brother at some point this week to wish him a Happy Birthday.
In an interview with Slingo, he said: "Do you know what, with families when you fall out you still fix it.
"I think that hand on heart I still believe that Harry will still reach out to William for his birthday. I think he will reach out to him, definitely, I think they will still reach out to each other on their birthdays.
"Will there be a card? I think there will still be a card. Will there be a gift? I don't know, it's difficult to say.
"It's an interesting one, isn't it? I'd like to think for example, when it's Kate’s birthday that Harry and Meghan send flowers and vice versa. I'd like to think that kind of thing happens, but who knows?
"Look at how they said there was a secret meeting during the Coronation when Harry was over… Harry and William supposedly saw each other so you never know.
"For all we know they could be talking and they could be sorting things out. So I'd like to think that they remember each other’s birthdays."
The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex appeared to put on a united front at the Coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla at Westminster Abbey on May 6 for the sake of their father.
Ahead of the historical day, it was believed that Harry and William may have had to make peace with their differences but it is still not known whether they came face to face before or after the Coronation.
Speaking of their once close relationship as young boys, Mr Harrold said: "I mean, when they were kids growing up, we've heard that they had parties.
"When I was there, it was birthday parties where they brought their friends, but it was the same as any other birthday party where you have your friends and you have a cake, you have a sing song."
Mr Harrold added: "If you talk about generation wise - like King Charles when he was younger - I'm sure the parties were a bit more formal.
"I'm sure there were parties. I'm sure they were more organised. With the late Queen, the same as [when] she was growing up. I'm sure parties would definitely have been more low key and again, very formal as well. So I think it's changed over the years."
Today is William's first birthday since his father appointed him as the Prince of Wales after Her Majesty's death last September.
William recently told the Sunday Times that he has plans for social housing on the 13,000 acre estate he is now in charge of.
The Prince also said he is determined to end homelessness in the UK, telling the paper he will be launching a "really big project" to try and tackle the issue.
However, the details of his five-year project are being kept secret until the end of this month.
William who is the patron of Centrepoint which is a homelessness charity for young people officially opened Reuben House last week.
Reuben House is a block of 33 studio properties in South London where rents are set at a third of a resident's income on behalf of the charity.
Ahead of his 40th birthday last year, the heir to the throne vowed to continue "shining" a light on the "solvable issue" of homelessness and to introduce his three young children to charities supporting rough sleepers like his mother did for him.
The late Princess of Wales introduced William to a homeless shelter when he was just 11-years-old in a bid to broaden the future King's horizons.
