Prince Harry is set to promote his new memoir, which is due to shed more light on his troubled relationship with the Royal Family, in an ITV interview with Tom Bradby, it is reported.
Senior royals are believed to be bracing themselves for new revelations from the Duke of Sussex in his book called Spare which is due to be published on January 10.
Before that Harry is taking part in a media blitz to promote the book that will see him interviewed with American journalist Anderson Cooper on American TV network CBS.
And it is now also reported that he will speak to Mr Bradby who has known Harry since he was a teenager.
The ITV journalist, who presents News at Ten, was a royal correspondent where he became acquainted with Harry and William in the 1990s.
Since then he interviewed William and Kate in 2010 and also memorably asked Meghan about how she was feeling while on a South Africa tour.
Meghan replied: “Thank you for asking, because not many people have asked if I'm OK. But it's a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”
The title of Harry’s memoir is a reference to “the heir and the spare” which was said by Harry when growing up alongside William.
Harry will rake in more than £36million for lifting the lid on his time as a royal leading up to his acrimonious exit from “The Firm” with wife Meghan.
The 416-page memoir, ghost written by American novelist J.R. Moehringer and complete with a striking cover image of Harry, will contain “raw, unflinching honesty”, according to the publishers.
The book was set to come out this autumn but the date was pushed back as a mark of respect following the death of the Queen.
There are fears Harry will again take aim at the royals following a series of interviews with US media since moving to California with Meghan and most recently their Netflix series.
Before Harry speaks to ITV he will be interviewed with Mr Cooper has campaigned to promote better mental health and has spoken openly about losing his brother Carter to suicide.
A television source told the Daily Mail : "Mr Cooper has won Harry’s trust. This would be a coup for Mr Cooper and fits well with Harry’s campaign to promote mental health.
"It is a prime-time Sunday show which hosts foreign leaders and presidents. It’s the one that all the politicians and decision-makers watch."
The Mirror contacted the Sussexes for comment.
