Prince Harry makes a savage jibe about his brother Prince William in his new interview, following leaked claims about a row between the siblings that reportedly led to the Duke of Sussex being knocked to the floor.
In an extended clip from his ITV interview with Tom Bradby, Harry is heard making a quip about William, Prince of Wales, when asked how he might react to his tell-all book.
Harry's new bombshell memoir, Spare, will be released next week, with it said to reveal never before shared details from his life in and out of the Royal Family.
One such claim by Harry is that his brother grabbed him by the collar and knocked him to the floor, in a brawl following a heated row over his wife Meghan Markle.
The claims were said to be a leaked extract from his upcoming memoir, as reported by the Guardian. The Duke of Sussex alleges a confrontation with his elder brother at his London home in 2019 left him with cuts and scratches on his back.
Now, a new clip from his televised ITV chat with Tom has shared more about his feelings towards his brother and his family, having previously shared his hopes to have them back in his life.
In the new clip, Harry is asked about how William would react to his tell-all book and the claims in it about him and their family.
Tom also quizzes him about possible accusations of Harry invading their privacy with the book, as details in it will not have had the Royal Family's approval.
It's then that Harry made a savage swipe about William amid his claims of their row in 2019, suggesting William "would say lots of things" - while also implying that his family had leaked stories about him to the press.
Tom asks him in he chat: "Wouldn’t your brother say to you, ‘Harry, how could you do this to me after everything? After everything we went through?’ Wouldn’t that be what he would say?”
Prince Harry : "He would probably say all sorts of different things."
Tom adds: "Some people will say you’ve railed against invasions of your privacy all your life and the accusation will be here are you invading the privacy of your nearest and dearest without permission, now that will be the accusation."
Harry responds: "That would be the accusation from people that don’t understand or don’t want to believe that my family have been briefing the press."
Harry: The Interview will air on ITV1 at 9pm on Sunday.
