Prince Harry 'swore at King Charles' in argument over money, new book claims

Prince Harry reportedly swore at King Charles in a row over money, a new book has claimed. The Duke of Sussex reportedly lost his temper when his demands for funds were not met.

It is claimed Harry vented his frustrations over the phone to his father, King Charles, who is said to be redistributing funds within the monarchy. The revelation was made in Robert Jobson's new book, 'Our King', as the royal correspondent revealed details about the firm.

The relationship between Harry and his family has been struggling following a series of claims he made after moving to the US with wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. It is not yet clear whether the couple will reunite with the family at the Coronation next month, but they have been officially invited to the big event.

According to Jobson, Harry had been contacting his grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth, to discuss financial matters which she grew "weary and tired" of talking about. Johnson claimed she felt "troubled" when he asked her to voice his issues, the Express reports.

A source told Jobson: "Her Majesty found Prince Harry's calls quite difficult and wearisome. She didn't want to interfere in the father/son relationship and would urge him to speak to his father.

The Queen urged Harry to contact his father directly instead, but it reportedly ended up in an argument as tempers flared during a phone call.

Jobson added: "Prince Charles simply stopped taking Harry's calls after his son swore at him and repeatedly asked for funds. When the Queen asked Charles why he hadn't given in, he told her that he wasn't a bank."
