Prince Harry has been spotted in his first public outing since quietly leaving the UK following the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The Duke of Sussex enjoyed a game of polo, playing for his his friend Nacho Figueras' team Los Padres at the Cancha de Estrella club in Santa Barbara, California, on Friday.
In a series of photos, the 37-year-old can be seen chatting with a referee after the game.
Harry and his wife Meghan Markle reportedly returned to the US on Sunday after making one public appearance over the Jubilee weekend.
During their fleeting visit, the Sussexes, who were also accompanied by the their three-year-old son Archie, introduced the Queen to her namesake granddaughter Lilbet, one.
Meghan was not pictured at the polo game on Friday, which saw Harry's team lose 12-8 to Dundee II.
Despite their presence at the celebrations last week, a royal expert has claimed the rift between Harry and his brother Prince William has entered a "rotten new phase".
The pair, once close, were not pictured together during the bank holiday festivities, leading experts to believe the feud is ongoing.
Though the brothers were both at Trooping the Colour, William and Kate were not spotted with Harry and Meghan.
Daniela Elser, an Australian expert on the Windors, said: "It’s nearly a year since we last saw William and Harry together, and in that time the situation seems to have only deteriorated further.
"Five metres. By my best estimate the closest that Prince William and Prince Harry came to one another throughout the entirety of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations last week was around about five metres.
"With their expressions entirely neutral, the Royal party passed the second row, completely ignoring Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, who returned the frosty favour.
"There was not a nod or a discreet tilt of the head or any single discernible gesture of acknowledgment from either side. Now one thing has become clear – the rift between the brothers has entered a rotten new phase.
"What has come into clear focus is that this is not temporary iciness that a few conciliatory words and a brusque hug might fix. It is a state of deep permafrost with no end in sight."
Since stepping down as a senior member of the royal family in January 2020 and before last weekend, it is believed Harry had only seen William twice - at the funeral of Prince Philip and at an unveiling of a statue of their late mother Princess Diana.
