Prince Harry's friend insists 'feud' between him and William has 'gone' as they mourn Queen

A friend of Prince Harry's has suggested that his 'feud' with brother Prince William is no more as they come together to mourn their grandmother.

William is said to have sent a dramatic final-hour text to Prince Harry inviting him and wife Meghan Markle to Windsor Castle to view tributes the the late Queen and greet wellwishers.

It was reported that the Prince of Wales was not acting on orders of Prince Charles in setting up the surprise reunion with his estranged brother and sister-in-law on the walkabout.

Appearing on Lorraine today, mental health activist and journalist Bryony Gordon - who is friends with Harry and Meghan - opened up when she was quizzed on whether the Sussexes and Cambridges were healing the rift between them.

"I've worked with them all with my work in mental health campaigning and writing about my own mental health so when you see them, they're very normal," she said. "They are very normal when you're interacting with them and working with them.

"When you read about whether there's going to be a reconciliation or a truce, I just think 'oh these are humans involved'."

Lorraine pointed out: "I think that would be an amazing way to pay tribute to the Queen - the fact that all of that just goes."

Bryony replied: "Well, I think all of that has gone because I think they are very much focused on mourning their grandmother and I think that's kind of evident, it doesn't really matter."

It comes after William, the Princess of Wales, Harry and Meghan Markle - who were previously dubbed the 'Fab Four' - were reunited publicly for the first time since the Sussexes quit the UK and moved to the US as they were filmed shaking hands with the lined crowds and accepting bunches of flowers.

Dressed all in black, both couples looked slightly nervous as they arrived together in one car before spending about 40 minutes chatting to waiting fans outside the grounds of the castle.

A source told the Daily Mail: "It happened very quickly – remarkable really considering they didn’t see each other in Scotland."
