Prince Harry has "resentment" towards his "calculated" brother Prince William who he believes "made him the spare", according to a royal expert.
The brothers are due to come face to face with one another this weekend on May 6 to support their father during his coronation at Westminster Abbey, the Mirror reports.
Harry is set to face his family alone for the first time since the release of his controversial memoir Spare as wife Meghan Markle will stay at home in Los Angeles to look after their two children.
This will be the first time the feuding Princes will have the opportunity to speak to each other in months. However, according to royal expert Tina Brown, the brothers are "totally estranged" and it's unlikely they will talk at the ceremony due to Harry feeling like a "spare."
She told LBC: "The longer Harry dwells on what happened in his life, the more he feels resentment against William. He feels, I think, that William was even more calculated, essentially, in making him the number two, making him the spare, and feel like the spare at all time."
Due to the brother's not being on speaking terms, there is little chance of them reuniting anytime soon, Tina claims. She added: "So there's no contact between them, I'm told. I think Charles wants to have some kind of rapprochement.
"But I think it's going to take years... it never happened between George VI and the Duke of Windsor, it just got worse. Alienations tend to get worse as time goes by, rather than better".
The royal expert believes the Princes won't speak to each other in great detail apart from acknowledging each other in a civil manner for the sake of their father on his big day. Tina said: "I do not think there will be any contact between them [William and Harry] at the Coronation."
The Duke of Sussex's "fleeting" trip to the UK will be cut short as he flies back to the US on the same day to celebrate his son Archie's birthday who turns four on the same day as the Coronation.
According to a royal source, "organisers have been told [that] Harry won't be attending the concert with the rest of the Royal Family, which is a shame as it will be such a spectacular event."
Organisers are reported to still be uncertain of Prince Harry's exact plans on the day with less than a week to go until the historical event.
There are rising fears that Harry will drop out of the ceremony as organisers are still believed to be unaware of when the Duke will arrive or if he is happy with where he is sitting in the Abbey.
