Meghan Markle and Prince Harry exuded 'confidence' in their latest public appearance at the Invictus Games, a body language expert claims.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex showed their bond is stronger than ever as they greeted fans and competitors in The Hague, Holland, today.
Body language expert Judi James suggested the pair are happy to be back serving a cause once again - two years on from stepping back as senior royals.
She said: "Harry’s facial expression says it all here.
"His emphatic eye-crinkling and his head tilt as he smiles suggests a return to the cause and the people that he loves, while his hand-cupped self clasp hints at a small amount of trepidation and humility during this first public appearance for a while."
Ms James added that Harry fiddles with his wedding ring, suggesting he treasures the support of his wife.
Meanwhile, Meghan, who donned a £3,200 white Valentino suit, appeared to be touched by the show of support she received at the event.
Ms James told Mail Online : "'Meghan’s white pants suit might be more sophisticated than the ripped jeans and boyfriend shirt she wore back then but her hand on her heart gesture signals a desire to show and ongoing love of the public."
She added that Meghan also showed a 'gesture of submission' by cupping her hand upwards.
The couple, who held hands, were at a special reception for Invictus competitors in The Hague this afternoon.
They walked on a yellow carpet to honour the Games' branding before heading inside a giant marquee to meet competitors and their families, as well as city leaders and officials from the Dutch Ministry of Defence.
Earlier the pair met the Ukraine Invictus team ahead of the games' opening ceremony tomorrow evening.
Harry was pictured being handed a calendar by one of the people at the reception while Meghan could be seen smiling in the background.

Ukrainian Oleg Karpenko tweeted about meeting the prince saying: "You just look who is here with us the Prince himself with a calendar.
"The Invictus Games Ukraine team will soon start winning its medals at these competitions. Proud."
They lapped up cheers and applause as they made their way to the events, which were held one after another at the same venue.
It was revealed earlier this week that Meghan would be accompanying her husband to the Invictus Games in The Hague, with their trip being filmed by cameras for a Netflix documentary.
It is the first time they have travelled together outside the US since they quit the UK for California in early 2020.
Their appearance at the reception today comes after it emerged they secretly visited the Queen and Charles yesterday on a whistle-stop trip to the UK.
