Friends of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - George and Amal Clooney - turned out in support of King Charles.
Hollywood actor Clooney, 62, and his wife, 45, appeared in central London on Tuesday at the Prince's Trust and TKMaxx & Homesense Awards 2023.
Young people across the UK who have completed the charity's programmes are celebrated at the event and rewarded for their achievements.
The Mirror reports Harry and Meghan have reportedly grown close with the Clooneys over the years but they do not appear to be taking sides in the ongoing royal feud.
It was reported that the Clooneys did not know the royal couple well at the time of their 2018 wedding but they were given a 'prime pew' for the service.
Princess Diana’s former flatmate Carolyn Bartholomew, who was sat next to George and Amal, is said to have turned to them to ask how they knew the happy couple, to which they said: "We don't."
At the wedding afterparty in Frogmore House, George is reported to have danced with both Meghan and Kate Middleton.
Since then the couples have apparently become closer and Amal was even included in a small group of friends at the Duchess' baby shower in New York the following year.
The Sussexes' biography Finding Freedom claims the Clooneys hosted Harry and Meghan on at least two occasions at their UK home in Sonning, Oxfordshire.
Clooney was said to often take guests down to the lake and the book says the royal pair even took their dogs along.
The book also tells of how the Sussexes were flown out to Lake Como on George's private jet just weeks after the wedding, after being invited to the popular destination by the Clooneys.
In an interview with Good Morning America, Finding Freedom co-author Omid Scobie said Harry and George had bonded over their love of motorcycles and also played basketball together.
George was asked by the Daily Mail in 2019 how he knew the couple and said vaguely: "I’ve just known them."
He added: "We live not too far from one another and we have dinners and stuff and we’re friends with them for all the reasons that you’re friends with anybody.
"They’re just really nice, fun, kind people, they’re a very loving couple, and they’re going to be great parents."
