A bombshell new book is scheduled for release this week but a royal expert claims that Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, may feel they have been 'hung out to dry'
There seems to be a shelf full of released or soon to be released books about the royals just recently with claims flying in both directions. However, the latest comes from royal author Valentine Low. The book, which is published on Thursday, October 6, has made several claims about what went on during the pair's short time as working royals.
The book, 'Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind The Crown', says that some of the couple's staff were left in tears when they discovered the couple had secretly made plans to escape royal life, writes the Mirror. It also claims that that some staff who have previously worked for them dubbed themselves the 'Sussex Survivors Club'.

The couple quit the UK in 2020 and moved to the United States where they have been critical of their time as working royals. With the release of the book, royal expert Duncan Larcombe believes Harry and Meghan will have felt "hung out to dry".
He told OK! magazine : "Some of the people involved will have felt aggrieved at Meghan’s hands – and they’re free to speak to writers like Valentine. Harry and Meghan are going to see these accusations appearing in Valentine’s book and I think they are going to believe they have been hung out to dry."
Harry and Meghan were in the UK last month following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. As well as attending the state funeral, the pair joined Prince William and the Princess of Wales for a walkabout. But Duncan believes there may not be a role for the US-based couple in the future of the monarchy.
He added: "When William and Kate became the Prince and Princess of Wales, one of their first jobs was to reach out to Meghan and Harry, and Charles explicitly affirmed their relationship in his speech, no matter what has been said and done.
"Now Meghan and Harry have returned to California knowing that the ball is in their court. The fact remains that the life they built in America is incompatible with Harry attaining any meaningful role in the royal family."
