Prince Harry and Meghan 'filming Kardashian-style docuseries' for Netflix

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reported to be filming an ‘at-home docuseries’ for Netflix.

Page Six claims the show will be similar to Keeping Up with the Kardashians as part of the couple’s $100million deal with the streaming giant.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have welcomed a camera crew into their California mansion for the reality series, but it is not yet known if their children - three-year-old Archie and 11-month-old Lilibet will appear.

'I think it's fair to say that Netflix is getting its pound of flesh,' a Hollywood insider in the know about the project claimed to Page Six.

The Sussexes have been followed by a Netflix camera crew over the past few months, and they have been spotted with the pair as they attended the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.

Netflix is also making a documentary about the sporting event called “Heart of Invictus.”.

But Page Six reports they are also being joined by a film crew for “something much juicier” and cameras have been spotted at their $14million home in Montecito, as well as out and about with the couple in New York.

The Mail reports the Sussexes want the docuseries' broadcast to be delayed until early next year, around the time Harry is expected to release his tell-all memoirs.

They also report concerns have been raised that the couple hope to include the Queen in the show.

Royal expert Angela Levin, author of 2018 book ‘Harry: Conversations With The Prince’, told the Mail: 'Harry wanted privacy and to be ordinary. He also hated cameras. But he's ended up doing an at home docuseries for Netflix. Does he need to be searched for hidden cameras on Jubilee days? Will he steal the event from the Queen?’

The Queen's aides are said to have already banned Harry and Meghan's camera crews from her palaces as she marks her 70-year reign.

Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, visited the Queen at Windsor Castle last month en route to The Invictus Games in the Netherlands.

The trip took place just before the monarch’s 96th birthday and Harry said his grandmother was in great spirits — but caused controversy when he said he was making sure she was being looked after by the right people.

The couple have announced Archie and Lilibet will be in London for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations next month.

Harry’s family will not join senior members of the Firm like Prince Charles and William on the balcony at Buckingham Palace, it has been confirmed by palace officials.

Netflix have declined to comment, and reps for the Sussexes were unavailable for comment.
