Prince Harry allegedly got barred after abusing French pub boss with foul-mouthed insult

Prince Harry allegedly called a French pub manager a "f***ing frog" in an appalling rant - and was barred from the pub.

Details of the story of the teenage prince abusing a staff member at a pub have slowly been revealed over the years, but it's been readdressed in a new book.

In Robert Jobson's 'Our King', the royal correspondent has been revealing behind-the-scenes details about the Royal Family, including the time Harry vented his anger on a night out.

In one extract, the writer discusses how news of Harry's drinking habits came to public attention due to former News of the World royal editor Clive Goodman.

It's claimed that Harry enjoyed wild boozing sessions at The Rattlebone Inn near King Charles' Highgrove home in Gloucestershire, but he went too far one night.

Jobson says: "He [Goodman] wrote that Harry, whose father and brother were away from Highgrove at the time, frequented the Rattlebone Inn in Sherston, and got drunk. Harry had then been banned for calling the French manager 'a f***ing frog'."

The pub boss, Franck Ortet, has previously revealed exactly what happened on the night in question.

Franck said he had a close relationship with both William and Harry, who often frequented his pub with their friends, and would have banter with the boys.

However, he claimed Harry's jovial manner changed over time and he became more dismissive and rude.

The Frenchman explained that it all came to a head when he got into a slanging match with the young royal because he refused to serve him alcohol.

Speaking to the Mail, Franck claimed he asked Harry for ID, but got the reply: "Shut up and get on with your job."

He then said Harry started calling him "Froggie" repeatedly, which he laughed off at first but eventually lost his rag.

Franck explained: "As he carried on calling me names I could see him turning his head to smile at his friends as though he was being really clever. It looked like he was enjoying being the centre of attention.

'I'm sure he thought it was really funny but it annoyed me because everyone was laughing and I felt he was trying to humiliate me. I had to leave to stop myself saying something nasty.

"I went out of the bar to calm down and when I came back they'd gone. I felt offended that he'd made my customers laugh at me."

Franck said he barred Harry from the boozer and he never returned - and he has not seen the prince ever since.

He actually praised Harry for being polite and friendly initially, but said his behaviour changed as he got older.

While it's never been confirmed, some believe Franck's pub was the one mentioned in Harry's virginity story, as he first had sex in a field outside a boozer.

The Duke of Sussex revealed intimate details about the first time he had sexual intercourse at the age of 17 in his highly-anticipated autobiography, Spare.

Using descriptions that could easily have come out of a 50 Shades of Gray novel, Harry says his mature lover "liked macho horses" and treated him "like a young stallion".

In a transcript of the book seen by the Mail, Harry wrote: "I suspected he was referring to my recent loss of virginity, a humiliating episode with an older woman who liked macho horses and who treated me like a young stallion.

"I mounted her quickly, after which she spanked my ass and sent me away. One of my many mistakes was letting it happen in a field, just behind a very busy pub. No doubt someone had seen us."

The identity of Harry's first sexual partner was kept a mystery, but Sasha Walpole revealed she was the woman in question.

Sasha said she was forced to speak out and share her side of the story after the Duke of Sussex wrote about their tryst in his memoirs.

The mum-of-two said the booze-fuelled sex happened outside a pub, where Prince William had also been that night, and that Harry made the first move for their "moment of passion".
