Prince Charles has said he hopes "bickering" does not return after the "togetherness" of the Platinum Jubilee weekend.
The prince and his wife Camilla were at The Oval today, where they mingled with guests taking part in a Big Jubilee lunch.
Among those Charles chatted with was Sarah Friar, CEO of neighbourhood app Nextdoor, who sat opposite the prince.
She said: "He said at the end how great it was that everyone comes together this weekend,” she said.
“We see it with neighbours, right? I’m from a company called Nextdoor, so people coming together with the best coming out. People who don’t know each other are out having fun.”
Ms Friar, originally from Sion Mills in Co Tyrone, said that Charles commented: “When it comes to Monday are we going to go back to all the bickering again? Let’s hope we don’t do that.
Ms Friar said it was “a wonderful thought” for all of us.
Gemma Snow, from the Eden Project, was sitting next to Charles at the lunch for a few minutes and said he talked about “keeping that togetherness going”.

Meanwhile, local resident Sonia Wilson, 43, also mentioned the Party at the Palace to Charles, where the Queen took part in a heartwarming sketch with Paddington Bear.
In the skit, Her Majesty revealed to the much-loved character that she keeps marmalade sandwiches in her handbag.
Sonia said: "He said ‘I’m sorry to keep you from your lunch’. I said ‘no worries, I had my marmalade sandwich’.”
Ms Wilson said Charles laughed and replied: “That’s a good joke, isn’t it?”
Charles and Camilla's appearance at The Oval comes after the prince paid a moving tribute to his mother the Queen at last night's Platinum Party at the Palace.
To rapturous cheers from the crowd of 10,000 gathered outside Buckingham Palace Charles declared: “Her Majesty…mummy”, as he thanked the 96-year-old monarch on behalf of “the whole world” for her incredible dedication to duty.
As the cheers continued to stretch down London’s iconic Mall, where thousands more created a patriotic sea of red, white and blue, Charles, 73, said: “The scale of this evening’s celebration – and the outpouring of warmth and affection over this whole Jubilee weekend – is our way of saying thank you – from your family, the country, the Commonwealth, in fact the whole world.
“On behalf of us all, I wanted to pay my own tribute to your lifetime of selfless service."
