British royals Prince Charles and his wife Camilla are continuing their tour of Ireland as they visit Waterford and Tipperary this week.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall visited Waterford city and sites around the county on Wednesday where they were pictured enjoying the Medieval Museum.
The couple will meet Cheltenham heroes Honeysuckle and A Plus Tard on Thursday after the horses won the Champion Hurdle and the Gold Cup – the two biggest races of last week’s festival.

A British Embassy spokesman said: “Their Royal Highnesses will meet local community groups, businesses and first responders who worked to support others through the pandemic.

"They will meet farmers, officials and community organisers who are helping Ireland to meet its climate change goals by producing food and drink more sustainably.”
The exact logistics of the visit are kept under wraps for security reasons, but it was obvious to locals in Waterford that the Royal pair were coming to town.
One told the Mirror: “Half the streets in the middle of town are closed, so I think we’ll see them up close and personal.”
On Friday, they will follow in the footsteps of Charles’ mother Queen Elizabeth by visiting the Rock of Cashel.

The British monarch was at the historic monument during her historic visit in 2011. Charles and Camilla are now regular visitors to these shores since their first trip here in 2015.
The last time was in 2019 when they met President Michael D Higgins and on that occasion, Prince Charles said he and his wife plan to visit all 32 counties in the coming years.
When this visit ends tomorrow afternoon they will have ticked 12 counties off that list.
