Prince Archie celebrated his fourth birthday by receiving an incredible gift, it has been revealed.
The eldest son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who turned four last month on the same day as King Charles' Coronation, got a brand new bike with stabilisers.
The generous present was gifted and delivered to Archie by a bike store local to Harry and Meghan's Montecito mansion - with the couple later sending the owners of the shop a sweet note to thank them.
Their thank you letter was posted on Instagram by the owners of the Mad Dogs & Englishmen Bike Shop, who said they had just received the "lovely letter".
On paper headed with the words "The Office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex" and dated earlier this week, a staff member for Harry and Meghan, who are also parents to to-year-old Princess Lilibet, address the shop owners Martin and Jennifer.
It reads: "On behalf of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, please accept their sincere thanks for the thoughtful gift you sent to Prince Archie for his fourth birthday.
"The bike has brought much joy and is most appreciated by the family. They asked that I convey their gratitude at the lovely surprise."
Earlier this month, the bike shop posted a picture of the bike, which appears to be pink in colour and comes with stabilisers.
The shop captioned the image: "We hope yesterday's special birthday boy had a wonderful day surrounded by lots of love, friends and family.
"Martin gifted him a new kids bike out of our Montecito shop! We really hope he enjoys it. His little sis can ride as well when she gets a bit bigger."
Bike shop co-owner Jennifer Blevins told PEOPLE that the gift was delivered to Harry and Meghan's home by her British partner and shop co-owner, Martin.
She explained: "He went and he got one of our little specialised kids' bikes — they're really nice little bikes — and he's like, 'This one's perfect, it's got training wheels'.
"And so he went and got some birthday balloons, and he got some flowers for Meghan and a birthday card, and he said, 'Okay, I'm gonna bike over and take it to their house.'"
Security allowed Martin to leave the gift for Archie and Jennifer added they were shocked to receive the thank you letter earlier this week.
She told the publication: "It was so thoughtful because, you know, they took the time to write something personal and not just a generic thank you."
