London beauty spot closed for watching New Year's Eve fireworks after police cuts

People will be barred from watching London’s New Year’s Eve fireworks from a popular beauty spot where thousands usually flock to celebrate.

The gates to Primrose Hill will be closed from 8pm on Tuesday until 6am on New Year’s Day after dedicated parks police were scrapped as part of a cost-cutting measure.
