Prime Video top 10 shows — here’s the 3 worth binge-watching this week (Jan. 21-25)

The year is already flying by (we’ll be in February before you know it) and with time moving as fast as ever, the pressure to actually find something worth watching can feel higher than usual. While the start of a new year brings a steady stream of fresh shows across the major streaming platforms, narrowing down what deserves your time isn’t always easy.

Prime Video’s ever-changing top 10 can be a helpful starting point, but with new titles climbing the charts every week, it’s not always obvious which ones are truly worth the commitment. We took a look through Prime Video’s rankings, and these three shows are well worth checking out right now: a new episode of the streamer’s hit video game adaptation, the second season of a 100%-rated crime drama, and the latest episodes of Tom Hiddleston’s spy thriller.

This list is based on the Prime Video top 10 U.S shows as of Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Best shows in the Prime Video top 10

‘Fallout’

It’s Wasteland Wednesday once again, which means episode 6 of “Fallout” season 2 has officially landed. The series continues to prove why it’s one of the most compelling video game adaptations to date, fusing violent spectacle, offbeat humor, and strong storytelling. Episode 5 easily stands out as the strongest chapter of the season so far, packing real shock value and ending on a moment that genuinely caught me off guard. That insanely good ending to the episode has only raised the stakes, making it hard not to feel excited about where the rest of the season is headed.

“Fallout” season 2 picks up shortly after the explosive conclusion of the first season, following Lucy (Ella Purnell) and The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) as they continue their pursuit of Lucy’s father, Hank (Kyle MacLachlan), across the post-nuclear wasteland toward the legendary city of New Vegas. The story unfolds in the irradiated Mojave Desert, where our beloved characters face increasingly violent threats. Along the way, Maximus (Aaron Moten) advances within the Brotherhood of Steel, figuring out his place in this world as secrets between the factions rise to the surface.

‘Wild Cards’

If you’re looking for something easy to sink into halfway through the week, “Wild Cards” is well worth a spot on your watchlist. The crime series first landed on Prime Video in January 2025, with its second season arriving this month in much the same way. Some viewers may have missed it the first time around, as it originally debuted in Canada, where season 3 has only just started airing. Still, anyone who enjoys light, character-driven procedurals like “Castle” or “High Potential” should find plenty to like here.

“Wild Cards” follows demoted detective Cole Ellis (Giacomo Gianniotti), now stuck on maritime duty, and con artist Max Mitchell (Vanessa Morgan), who’s on probation, after she helps him crack a local case. To regain his detective status and keep her out of jail, they’re paired together and must use their very different skills to solve crimes, from stolen artifacts to mysterious deaths. Season 2 continues their unlikely partnership as they’re officially reassigned as partners on the police force.

‘The Night Manager’

“The Night Manager” first debuted in 2016 to widespread critical acclaim, earning numerous major award nominations and wins (including multiple Emmy and Golden Globe awards) which helped it build a dedicated global audience and cement its reputation as one of the most successful spy thrillers of the decade. That enduring popularity, coupled with continued interest from fans and creators, eventually led BBC One and Prime Video to greenlight a second (and third) season nearly a decade later. Now the first four episodes of season 2 are streaming on Prime Video worldwide.

British soldier Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston) is recruited by intelligence agency MI6 to infiltrate the inner circle of powerful arms dealer Richard Roper (Hugh Laurie) by posing as a trusted associate while working at a luxury hotel. In season 2, set years later, Pine — now under a new identity as Alex Goodwin and working in MI6 surveillance — is drawn back into covert operations after encountering remnants of Roper’s network. He undertakes an undercover mission into a Colombian arms organization.
