- Stephen King 's 1980 horror short story Crouch End is being adapted into a six-part TV series for Prime Video .
- Set in north London , the project will be the first King adaptation to be produced in the UK.
- The plot follows film star Doris Freeman and police inspector Ted Vetter as he investigates the mysterious disappearance of her husband.
- Screenwriter Paul Tomalin is adapting the story, with Tom Shankland directing the series.
