Prime Hydration energy drinks re-sold for £15 a bottle as they sell out across Nottingham

The extremely popular Prime Hydration energy drinks are being re-sold for £15 a bottle. It comes after the £1.99 drink created by YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul was stocked at Aldi supermarkets across Nottingham this week.

The Prime Hydration energy drink can now be found on Facebook Marketplace for well over the supermarket value. One seller from Nottingham has listed three Prime Hydration drinks in one of each flavour.

The seller has priced them at £15 a bottle or £40 for all three. Another seller from Forest Fields says he only has the Ice Pop and Orange flavour drink left, for £10 each.

The highly sought-after drink was stocked at Aldi in its Specialbuy range. Customers were seen queuing outside the supermarket in Nottinghamshire waiting to get their hands on one.

Adam Smith, 36 from Wollaton, queued from 7am yesterday (December 29) with his ten-year-old son Charlie to get one of the limited edition drinks. He said: "Every child is obsessed with this Prime Hydration drink so my son insisted that we got up this morning before Aldi opened at 8am because they are stocking it.

"We joined the queue at 7.20am and it was carnage but there wasn't enough for everyone. At least half the queue was disappointed and there were three per customer.

"It's absolutely insane for a drink. We managed to get three as there were different flavours.

"They had them up the front near the checkouts and apparently. It's a one-hit-wonder that they will not be restocking"

A spokesperson for Aldi had said: "The viral hydration drink created by two popular YouTube stars, KSI and Logan Paul, is available to buy for just £1.99 in Aldi stores nationwide on December 29. The drink will be a Specialbuy – and as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone.

"The supermarket is expecting high demand so a purchase limit of one of each variant per customer has been set to ensure as many people as possible get the opportunity to buy the product. The drink, which is 10% coconut water, contains electrolytes and B vitamins and BCAAs, has zero sugar and around 20 calories per bottle.

"Aldi shoppers can choose from three different flavours: Blue Raspberry, Lemon and Lime, and Ice Pop." Previously, the drink was only stocked in Asda at a price of £2. The drink has been selling out on Asda's shelves, leaving people desperate to get their hands on one.
