Prime Day music deals image.

Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days has returned for another year of bargains, with October 8 & 9 filled with top deals for music fans. The sales event follows the summer's Prime Day, and you can find some amazing deals on tech, lego kits, alcohol and more.

Let's kick off with a couple of my favourite deals straight off the bat - and my op pick right now won't even cost you anything as Amazon is offering four free months of Amazon Music Unlimited for Prime members. This deal will run through October 10, so if you've been thinking about taking a look at what the service has to offer, now's the perfect chance.

At this time of year, Lego is always a popular choice - whether it's something for yourself or an early Christmas present. And if it's something from the Star Wars universe you're after, you can currently get the 7541-piece Lego Millennium Falcon with a 25% reduction at Amazon right now. it's down from £734.99 to £549.99.

And don't forget, next month sees the return of Black Friday, with the main day kicking off on November 29. The deals will stretch right through the weekend, culminating in Cyber Monday on December 2. We'll be here bringing you all the best deals across the board nearer the time, so keep Louder locked in.

Amazon Prime Big Deal Days FAQ

When is Amazon Prime Big Deal Days?

Amazon Prime Big Deal Days follows the online shopping giant's summer Prime Day event, with the late autumn sale covering two days of bargains. This year, it take place throughout October 8 & 9.

The original Prime Day was originally a single day of cut-price bargains, but in recent years, Amazon decided to expand it to two full days and extend it even further every October with Amazon Prime Big Deal Days.

Amazon Prime Big Deal Days starts at 00.01am BST on Tuesday October 8 and ends at 11.59pm BST on Wednesday , October 9. If you're in the US, Prime Day kicks off at 00.01am PT on Tuesday and ends 11.59pm PT on Wednesday.

Do I need a Prime subscription?

While the occasional offer can be obtained by non-Prime members, to get full access to the vast majority of deals over Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, you'll need to grab a Prime membership. You can currently sign up for an Amazon Prime 30-day free trial, after which you'll be charged $14.99/£8.99 per month for the service.

Not only do Prime members get all the deals taking place over Prime Day and Prime Big Deal Days, but there are other benefits too, including faster delivery of orders, exclusive bargains, early access to lightning deals, along with Amazon Music Prime and Amazon Prime Video.

It's also worth noting that not all the action takes places on Amazon over the two-days of sales, with plenty of non-Amazon retailers slashing prices and making the most of the buzz surrounding Prime Day.

Where can I find the best Prime Day deals?

If you’re a music fan (if not, you've clearly landed on Louder in error) then there will be countless Prime Big Deal Days sales to sink your teeth into. Whether you’re after a new pair of budget wireless headphones, you’re planning on upgrading your record player, or grabbing an ace budget turntable, stocking up on cheap vinyl records or you’ve got your eyes on a new smartwatch for music, it’s definitely worth putting some budget aside for a bargain once Prime Day rolls around.

Remember, it's not just music stuff up for grabs, either. Maybe you have a weekend of live music planned next year and want to get organised early. If so, check out one of the best festival tents. There will undoubtably also be sales on pop culture collectables, Lego kits and more

Amazon devices are always reduced for Prime Day and Prime Big Deal Days, so we'll bring you the best deals on those such as the awesome Amazon Echo Studio – our top pick when it comes to the loudest Bluetooth speakers – or one of the dinky Echo Dots.

What other products will be on sale?

With Prime Big Deal Days and Prime Day being Amazon inventions, chunks of change will be lopped off a bunch of Amazon's own products, including speakers, Ring video doorbells, Kindle readers and Fire TV sticks.

Amazon already got in on the action early by offering Prime members four free months of Amazon Music Unlimited.

And even though Prime Big Deal Days is Amazon only, if previous years of covering the event are anything to go by, other online retailers such as Walmart and BestBuy will also get in on the action to offer discounted products.

We'll bring you all the biggest and best deals around Prime Big Deal Days to help you grab a brilliant summer bargain - no matter what site they're on.

Why you can trust us

At Louder, we’ve been covering annual online sales events including Amazon Prime Day, Prime Big Deal Days, Black Friday and Cyber Monday for many years and have also written dozens of buyer's guides and hands-on product reviews.

We'll always give you the pros and cons on products to help you make an informed decision, with the team exploring individual product specs, how easy the item is to use, how it performs and if it represents good value for money.

If a product is aimed at musicians, we'll test it onstage or in the studio, while gear like headphones, Bluetooth speakers and turntables are put under scrutiny in our homes - not in a soundproofed studio. Why? We feel this will give you a more genuine insight into how you’ll be using the product if you decide to make a purchase.

All our reviews will always feature a couple of alternative options to give you as much choice as possible when it comes to choosing something that's going to be right for you.
