Gadget fans can pick up an Apple Watch for less than £200 this Amazon Prime Day, making it officially the lowest price at which the internet giant has ever sold new versions of the popular wearable tech.
The Apple Watch SE has been reduced by up to 26% depending on which colour you choose, whether you go for GPS only or with additional Cellular coverage and whether 40mm or 44mm face.
The biggest discount is on the classic silver aluminium case with abyss blue sport band, which comes in at £199 including delivery, well below the usual £269 price tag. The best value 44mm SE option is the same silver/blue combination, which comes in at £267 for the GPS only version, a slightly less impressive saving of 16%.
For Apple users wanting a higher spec watch, the Series 7 has also been discounted for Prime Day.
The best deal here will see shoppers save 19%, or £90, on the price of the 41mm GPS only version. The aluminium green/clover coloured edition is reduced to £379 for the next 24 hours or until stocks last, although other colours are available with smaller discounts of between 9% and 11%.
Of the two models available for discount this Prime Day, the key difference is a more robust and larger screen on the more expensive Series 7. This is in part because the standard sizes are both 1mm bigger which, paired with a thinner screen border, gives the watch 20% more display area than previous versions.
It also charges 33% faster so if you're keen to use Apple's sleep tracking tech by wearing your watch overnight you don't have to worry it'll run out of charge.
Amazon Prime Day is traditionally a great time for shoppers to pick up big discounts on gadgets and it's not just Apple fans enjoying some big discounts this morning.
Amid deals on games consoles like XBox and Nintendo Switch, tablets, Ring smart doorbells, Kindles, Amazon Echos and headphones, Android phone users looking to upgrade can get 25% off the cost of some of the newest Google Pixel phones.
The Google Pixel 6 has been reduced by 25% from £599 to £449 with free delivery. The 128Gb models are available in Kinda Coral, Sorta Seafoam and Stormy Black.
5G enabled and with a 50 megapixel camera and a wide-angle lens, the smartphone is particularly popular with people looking to take high quality images and video.
For people looking for a larger screen, the Google 6 Pro has been reduced by 24% from £849 to £649 in a range of colours including Cloudy White, Light Yellow and Stormy Black.
Both phones are sold as unlocked versions, which gives shoppers a unique opportunity to either pay outright for a new phone while continuing with their existing contract or, to maximise their savings, sign up with one of the best SIM-only deals on the market and use that with their new device.
Both Virgin Media and O2 have launched SIM-only sales this week offering low cost deals for new customers including a £6 a month offering with Virgin Media for unlimited calls and texts and 4Gb a month. Meanwhile, O2 's £15 a month deal comes with unlimited calls and texts, 30Gb of data and a host of other extras including international roaming to 75 destinations at no extra charge, six months free Apple Music and a choice of free subscriptions to Prime Video, Disney+ and more.
