A primary school in Worksop has been getting stuck into the Nottingham Wildlife Trust's 30 Days Wild challenge this month. Pupils and teachers at Langold Dyscarr Community School have been taking up wild actions everyday in June in order to connect with nature.
They have already done wild activities such as magnet fishing to remove rubbish from Langold Lake to make it safer for wildlife. Pupils have also been spotting snails climbing the walls on the way to school in the morning as well as discovering a bird's empty egg shell after it had hatched.
Their wild adventures have proven to be educational and fun. Staff have also been taking part in the challenge as Mrs Cooley managed to photograph a fox in her garden.
