Primark shoppers are racing to stores to get their hands on an Olaplex haircare 'dupe' that costs just £2.50.
For those of us with dry or damaged hair, Olaplex is a popular product among beauty fans and has achieved viral status. However, bottles of the hair treatment often come with an expensive price tag.
But now Primark has elevated its beauty game after releasing a 'dupes' that shoppers say it just as good - if not better - than the real deal.
Taking to Instagram, the retailer announced that its new Bond Pro-Repair haircare has landed in-stores. The hair products are part of Primark's PS...Pro range, which features a selection of hair treatments for less.
There are four bonded products in total - a one use intensive moisture hair mask, an intensive moisture hair mask, a pre-shampoo treatment and a styling hair oil. Each product has been expertly blended to help smooth, condition and hydrate your tresses.
If you think the packaging looks familiar, then you wouldn't be the only one, as many fans have pointed out its similarity to the iconic Olaplex. What's even better, is that Primark's Bonded haircare starts from just £2.50, which is cheaper than the £28 you would spend on the pricier brand's products.
Primark shared its Bond Pro-Repair range to its official Beauty Instagram page that boasts 713,000 followers. It captioned its post: "Just landed: Bond Pro-Repair haircare collection. Prices from £2.50/€3 #PrimarkBeauty #NewArrivals."
Beauty fans quickly flocked to the comments to rave over the Olaplex 'dupe' that they seriously needed to get their hands on.
One shopper exclaimed: "Need to try and find these."
While a second raved: "Hello mega dupe!!! Clearly need these!!!!"
A third impressed shopper wrote: "This is gonna sell out so fast, hope I can get some!"
A fourth said: "WOW. I NEED this all!!!"
A fifth joked: "Olaplex is crying."
While we can all agree that we love a good budget 'dupe', some shoppers in the comments did take issue with the packaging that is almost identical to Olaplex, with one saying it was "too far."
One said: "No this is too far this is literall olaplex."
And a second wrote: "Who does the design have to be such a blatant copy of a well known brand? Sell affordable effective products with a unique design."
