It’s that time of year again when we see the return of the classic wardrobe staple - a cosy, sometimes colourful, knitted sweater. So far this year the weather has been fairly mild, which means we haven’t really had the chance to flex our jumper game.
But never fear as temperatures are slowly starting to drop, which means it’s probably time to reopen that jumper draw. Of course it’s also the perfect excuse to add to your sweater collection.
Primark is always a fan favourite for a winter knit, the range is vast and they are usually a lot cheaper than other High Street brands. But the retailer’s new sweater collection is not going down well with some shoppers for one reason in particular.

A recent post on Instagram showed a trio of colour combinations for Primark’s jumpers, hats and scarfs. It said: "Keepin' it cosy. Which colour combo is your fave? Prices from £3.50/€4.50/$5 #Primark #AutumnFashion".
The post has received hundreds of comments, but a number of shoppers have pointed out one element of the jumpers which they are not happy with - their length. Responding to the post one shopper said: “Love these but need longer lengths for us that have a bit of a tummy” and another added: “Why are all the sweaters so short? Nothing of a decent length”.
Whilst another said: “Nice sweaters but I can never purchase them too short all the time..... Come on Primark made them longer, actually like a sweater please.” And while some shoppers seem to have an issue with the length, most seemed to agree that they loved the colour combinations on offer, which include green, pink and orange and purple striped.
