High street bargain retailer Primark has made something of a name for itself in recent years when it comes to selling affordable designer dupes. Whilst designer fashion often paves the way for the latest trends, leaving fashionistas craving the pricey pieces, many are unable to afford them, especially as the cost of living skyrockets.
To stay on trend without breaking the bank, many shoppers purchase items that look like almost identical to designer pieces but without the steep price tag attached to them. Most recently, Primark has been showered in praise by customers after adding a pair of boots to its stores which look very similar to those sold by a high end brand for around £500 less.
At the moment, the budget fashion store is selling a pair of heeled boots which feature a design very similar to a croc-effect leather knee-high pair by Italian designer brand Paris Texas, which are priced at £530 online. Primark's version of the boots are close to the designer boots in colour, and also boast a leather, crocodile-effect design, the Liverpool Echo reports.

As many shoppers will know, Primark does not have an online shop, although it does have a website where customers can see what wares the store currently has for sale, and check if certain items are in stock before heading into their local branch. The £24 boots are for sale in stores this week.
Sharing their latest footwear on Instagram, Primark wrote: "These boots are everything. Landing in store this week. Boots £24/€26/$28 #Primark #NewIn."
Beneath the photo, which racked up over 6,000 likes in less than 24 hours, shoppers expressed their desire to own the boots, and praised Primark for stocking them. Tracey Stewart commented: "You're killing it @primark."
One shopper even compared the boots to some worn by a Strictly champion. Jane Taylor said: "Like the ones Rose the winner wore in Strictly last year."
Shannon Walsh wrote: "Autumn vibes."
