Primark has sent shoppers into a frenzy with the launch of its new £12 sets which feature characters from a classic late 90’s cartoon.
The retailer is known for its extensive collection of bright and colourful pieces showcasing classics like Groovy Chick, Barbie and Disney. This time, it’s The Powerpuff Girls that have made their debut.
Posting on Instagram to its 9.4m followers, Primark shared a photo of the vibrant seam-free sets priced at £12. The sets include retro characters Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup as well as new character Blisstina Utonium, who was introduced back in 2016.

In the colours blue, green, pink and purple, the seamless sets look perfect to lounge around in. The post gained a whopping 60k likes and more than 3k comments from Primark fans keen to purchase the cute sets.
One shopper said: “I have the PJs, the trainer socks & you better believe in getting this”
Another added: “Team bubbles” with a blue loveheart.
A third commented:: “Omg please tell me these are adults.”
The sets are available at your nearest Primark but you’ll need to be quick, as they’re proving very popular amongst nineties and noughties babies.
