When it comes to stylish new clothing collections, Primark usually hits all the right spots for its shoppers.
However, it looks like the budget high-street retailer has made a rare misfire, judging by the divided response they have received on social media.
The fast fashion giant has been delighting shoppers recently with their bold statement pieces in-stores, including their new retro pink collection.
Just recently the store shared a snap of another daring clothing collection to their official social media, but this time it invoked a much more mixed response from fans.
The retailer took to Facebook to share snaps of the new trending collection which features a variety of items in bold blue, green and orange colours.
Primark simply captioned the striking snaps: "Trending now: Bold statement colours."
Unfortunately, the striking collection doesn't seem to have hit the right notes for shoppers this time, with quite a few taking to the comments to voice their opinions.
"Not a diverse selection to cater to other age ranges that want to be on trend who don't want to look ridiculous. Very disappointing. Primark you can do better!", complained one shopper.
"Just lately Primark’s clothes have been too much like the stuff we wore in the 80’s/90’s. You need to get designers with more imagination", commented a second.
I'd have the blue and green bag, the rest no thanks. The styles/colours have been horrid for way to long now. Cant remember last time I walked out with something decent," said a third.
"Are you kidding Green ? Definitely not", commented a fourth.
Despite the lukewarm response from some, there were those who were impressed with the bold colours and took to the comments to praise the new collection.
"Love all bright colours", said one happy shopper.
"What perfect sets wonderful", said a second impressed shopper.
While a third commented: "I want it all."
Primark's new statement colour collection can be in-stores now.
