Primark shopper hails Stacey Solomon kids snuddie for adults as heating bills soar

The cost of living is impacting everyone with millions of household up and down the UK trying to save money.

Because of soaring energy bills, people are avoiding turning the heating on an are choosing to instead heat themselves rather than their home as they avoid reaching to turn up the radiator.

One of the latest 'must have' products seems to be electric blankets but as well as this, wearable blankets have also become popular with people of all ages.

And it seems one person who shops in Primark has a handy trick to getting the product for cheaper whilst benefitting from keeping warm saving even more money.

Taking to Facebook's Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the shopper told the groups 1.2 million members: "When they tell you that you can’t wear a child’s snuddie proved them wrong. Somewhat cheaper and cuter than the adults. I'm a size 6/8 at four months pregnant the large/XL will fit up to a size 10 comfortably.

"This is Stacey Solomon's snuddie from Primark kids lol. £18 I think cheapest adults is £25 - plain colours nowhere near as fluffy an adults character/themed was more like £32."

She posted it to Facebook's Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group. (Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.)

In response to the post, shoppers loved the handy tip with one saying: "Always buy Primark kids stuff to match my not so little girl lol!! This jumper was £3 in the sale!!" followed by a picture.

Another added: "I'm only 4 '10 and I wear size 2 trainers, some of the bargains i get are amazing plus I wear age 11-12yr old clothes, oh and I'm 54."

"I wear kids sizes all the time age 14/15 in JD fits me and half the price same as junior size 4 trainers been doing it for years lol!" wrote a third.
