Primark's £14 dupe that looks very similar to £110 Steve Madden bag

Budget retailer Primark is selling a new bag which looks very similar to ones sold by a designer brand - but for around £96 cheaper.

Primark, which is hugely popular in Liverpool, has become known for its designer dupes in recent years, often selling alternative versions to high-end products for much less. This time around, the retailer is selling a multicoloured bag which is very similar to one sold by fashion brand Steve Madden, which is priced at £110 online.

The bargain retailer shared its new bag on Instagram. The post was captioned: “PSA: You need this latest arrival. Bag £14/€16.”

The bag features a similar design to Steve Madden’s BPRISM across body bag. The bargain retailer's bag is similar in colour, shape and also has a gold chain strap.

The colourful design on the bag is very similar, with shades of blues and purples. They both feature gold buckles and a chain strap, though Steve Madden’s bag also has a tag with the brand’s name and a gold padlock on the front.

Primark’s bag is priced at £14, while Steve Madden’s version would set shoppers back £110. This means shoppers could save around £96 by opting for the dupe.

While Primark doesn't offer an online shop, the retailer does have a website where shoppers can see its latest products and check if they're in stock before heading into stores to purchase them. The £14 bag is in stores now. You can find the Steve Madden version here.
