Primark is often recognised amongst shoppers for having a vast range of items - from wardrobe staples that people are clamouring to buy to quirky gadgets that can transform your home. Whilst the budget retailer is known for having products at inexpensive prices, they also offer items that are unexpected and a little out there.
Zack Jones - who boasts more than 7,500 followers - was flummoxed as he walked into a Primark store and saw a rather unusual item sitting on their shelves - a cellulite roller. The questionable product, retailing at just £1, claims that it can "be used in the shower or with favourite cream or serum".
Taking to popular video-streaming service TikTok to share a hilarious clip, Zack put the item to the test as he was dumbfounded by the store's product.
Captioning the post, he wrote: "Madness some products you see on shelves these days. It’s 2022 common knowledge this won't work."
"How can Primark get away with selling this nonsense," He added in the video, which has exceeded 960,000 views since posting.
Taking the roller by hand, the TikToker put the item to the ultimate test as he ran it over his stomach, arms, and legs.
" Cellulite gone lol," he joked mid-demonstration.
Flocking to the comments, viewers were clearly divided over the practicality of the item. Whilst some thought it was a simple joke, others claim that it was rather useful.
"Well technically it will roll over your cellulite. Won't shift it but it will roll over it," one person joked.
A second added: "It's taken me 30yrs to release it don't work."
A different user wrote: "It massages fascia and can definitely smooth your skin."
"I actually use it for sore muscles when travelling," another said.
However, Zack, who also works as online personal trainer, claimed: "Unless you could apply a high degree of pressure, I would say this is effectively pointless for muscle soreness."
The Mirror has contacted Primark for comment.
