Primark ’s new click and collect service has gone live today in 25 stores across the country.
It means customers can browse over 2,000 products online, secure their favourites and select a preferred day and time to go and collect them in store.
At the moment, it will only include kids toys, clothing and nursery ranges across the North West of England, Yorkshire and North Wales.
Other ranges, including womenswear, menswear and homeware can only be bought in store for the time being.
Shoppers will also need to make a minimum purchase of £15 to use click and collect but there is no extra charge for the service.
Shoppers who wish to make a return through the service can also do so free of charge.
Kari Rodgers, Primark UK retail director, said: “We're thrilled that customers across North West England, parts of Yorkshire and North Wales, will soon be the first in the country to get the chance to try out our new Click + Collect offer.
“From launch, they’ll be able to browse and buy from our extensive range of kids clothing and nursery products, from the comfort of their own home, before coming to collect from one of our chosen 25 stores.”
The launch comes as the retailer suffered a huge blow following hundreds of store closures during the coronavirus pandemic.
With no online service to fall back on, the budget chain lost more than £1billion in sales.
While customers still can’t order products for home delivery online, Primark is hoping that its new click and collect service will reel in more customers.
