Remember when short Ugg boots were all the rage? Anybody who was anybody had their skinny jeans on, pumpkin spiced latte in hand and scarves wrapped tightly around their necks - with their signature Ugg boot shorties on their feet, ready to take on the world. Whether they were the real deal or a dupe didn't matter, as long as you had them in chestnut brown or chocolate, it was all good.
Now, prepare for the revival of the Noughties trend as they're back and bigger than ever - and those looking to save some cash will be glad to know that Primark have come through with a dupe to save you some serious pennies.
Olivia Preston, aka @livpreston, took to TikTok to share the budget shoes, urging people to go and get some for themselves because they're around £129 cheaper than the originals - plus they're comfy and warm.
She was amazed at the dupes as she held the chestnut coloured boots up to the camera and said: "Guys - look what I picked up in Primark today.
"These sand dupe 'Ugg boots' and then the mini ones in chocolate with the chocolate fluff inside. Sorry - these were £6. Look!"
She then went on to claim that the only real difference is that they don't have the 'Ugg' logo panel at the back, but she said she didn't think that it was such a big deal as they're 'cute'.
Some were quick to say they may ruin quicker than the real pair, with one commenting: "Throwback to wearing these to school in 2007 and after a week walking entirely on the sides", followed by crying with laughter faces.
Others defended the Ugg dupes though, with one commenting: "I got them last year, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised, mine haven’t fallen apart at all! and for £6 even if they do fall apart so what lol."
Another said: "I got these last year from Primark, wore them all winter and onto the second year now and they still look amazing! Best Buy for £6!"
"Getting these on Sat", another wrote.
Someone else said her pair had stood the test of time also, writing: "Last winter I got the sand pair and wore them every night for at least 1/2 months straight and even wore them out, they still look perfectly fine."
