Tools are essential to help you apply make-up like a pro, and it's all the better when they look pretty on your dressing table too.
Brushes in particular are a must-have in any make-up bag, whether they're for blending, contouring, powdering or highlighting. However, those who enthusiastically shop for make-up will know high-quality products can cost a small fortune.
Budget retail chain Primark has released a set of make-up brushes that might create a statement for shoppers in search of affordable tools - especially for fans of Harry Potter, as they are take inspiration from the book and film franchise.

On Primark Beauty’s Instagram page, the brand revealed the lavish-looking set, in a post captioned: “Illuminate your look with our new Harry Potter Makeup Brushes, only £7/€8/$9 #PrimarkBeauty #HarryPotter.”
Each of the gold brushes is printed with one of the Hogwarts house names of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. At the end of each brush is the shape of the animal representing the house - for example, a snake for Slytherin.
In the comments section shoppers shared their excitement, with one user writing: “Omgggg these look amazing”. Another added: “How magical are these”. Another shopper wanted to give the brushes a try before purchasing them, commenting: “This is so me! But a review of these brushes is needed first!”
Fans could not get enough of the gold coloured brushes, fit for Hogwarts royalty, which come in a range of sizes for different purposes. A fourth commenter observed: "New collection we didn’t know about or expect."
Primark has been expanding its beauty range in stores and even has a range of beauty studios in some of its larger branches, offering beauty treatments. The Bristol store is not yet among them.
