High street giant Primark has made an important announcement to all shoppers. It will come as a sigh of relief to many parents.
After years of shoppers being forced to wait in sometimes lengthy queues to purchase items, not to mention the mad dash around store to find what you're looking for, Primark has launched a click and collect trial. The trial will allow people to find the items they want ahead of time, order them, and then collect them in-store.
The move hopes to bring more families into stores and to the high-street. Unfortunately, the trial will only allow shoppers to order selected children's clothing for the time-being, but there are hopes it will expand the items on offer if successful.

Click and collect, and in-store returns, will be offered free as part of the trial, it has been confirmed. The click-and-collect service will offer 2,000 items across clothing, accessories and lifestyle products.
In a trading update released earlier today, Primark's parent company Associated British Foods (ABF) said: "We have chosen a much-expanded range of children’s products for this trial, which we believe has the potential to satisfy unfulfilled demand, driving footfall from both existing and new customers to deliver incremental sales in store."
“This trial will enable us to provide more fashion, licence and lifestyle products to more customers and more often. In-store collection will be available from designated areas, designed to be welcoming and situated in the heart of the store,” ABF said.
The trial will launch in 25 stores in the North West of England by the end of the year. Primark is yet to disclose which stores will be included in the trial.
