The Pride of Britain awards returns for yet another year to celebrate the nation's everyday heroes and their bravery.
The annual awards, which have taken place since 1999 in association with The Prince’s Trust, is considered one of the most heartwarming and emotional nights of the year.
Every year, several well-known faces from celebrities, politicians and sports icons come together to celebrate the bravery and selflessness of the winners.
Here's everything you need to know about Pride of Britain 2022, including the date, how to watch, which famous faces will be in attendance this year and how to vote.
When is Pride of Britain 2022 and how to watch it?
The ceremony for Pride of Britain 2022 will take place on Monday, October 24 - and the show will air on Thursday October 27 on ITV at 8pm.
Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo will return to co-host the star-studded event at London’s Grosvenor House.
Carol, who has hosted the event for 23 years since 1999, said: "We’ll have 12 incredible winners again this year, but it's difficult for the judging panel because we have thousands of nominations and everyone on the shortlist could easily win.
"We try to reflect what’s happened in Britain in the last year, so you’ll recognise people who have been in the news, but we aim to balance that with stories nobody has heard before. It’s a magical combination."
Who will be invited to Pride of Britain 2022?
Like always, there will be many famous faces in attendance at the Pride of Britain Awards this year.
Some of those in attendance at the 2022 awards will be football legend David Beckham, actor Michael Sheen, singer Mel B, Dame Joan Collins, Sir Mo Farah, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Sir Rod Stewart and Lionesses captain Leah Williamson.
How to vote for Pride of Britain Awards
Anyone of any age can be nominated for a Pride of Britain Awards, and it can be either for a single act of bravery and selflessness, or a lost-lasting passion or campaign.
There are several categories you can nominate people for an award in. Organisers suggest that if your nomination either fits into multiple categories or doesn't quite fit any, it's best to choose the category closest to the extraordinary act that you're nominating someone for.
Winners are chosen by the Pride of Britain judging panel, from a shortlist produced by a research team, who go through every nomination to pick out the best.
