A victim who had their motorbike stolen has told police of their shock at their 'pride and joy' being stolen, and officers have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.
The owner reported it stolen to police after it was found to have been taken from Pavilion Road, West Bridgford between 11pm on October 18 and 8am on October 19 last year.
Nottinghamshire Police enquiries have been ongoing since then, and officers have now released an image of someone they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
PC Matthew Holden, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: "The owner was shocked to find that their motorbike, their pride and joy, had been taken.
"This is not only a mode of transport for them, but it is their enjoyment, so it is awful that they've had this taken.
"We have been making various enquiries, including local intelligence and CCTV, as part of our enquiries and we remain committed to our investigation.
"Anyone who recognises the man in the picture is urged to contact Nottinghamshire Police as soon as possible.
"We think he may have information which could be really important to our enquiries.
"There are a number of ways motorbike owners can protect their bikes, and we would advise having an immobiliser and alarm fitted, as well as choosing secure spaces to leave your bike where owners can make use of security loops, which can be used to attach the bike to a secure fitment."
Anyone with information is urged to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 219 of October 19 2021.
