A city centre nightclub is giving away free cocktails this weekend in honour of International Women's Day.
International Women's Day is an annual celebration, held on March 8, which aims to celebrate the socioeconomic, cultural and political achievements of women.
Popular nightclub Jaloux is marking the day by giving away its much-loved Pretty Pink Blossom cocktail this Saturday, March 12 to the first 100 women to arrive at the club before 12am.

The nightclub, which is located on Victoria Street, is also launching its new cocktail menu which has been designed with confident women in mind.

Jaloux aims to provide an ideal spot to celebrate International Women's Day this weekend. The venue is a pretty retreat which boasts an intricate ceiling adorned in flowers and foliage, as well as an ode to the beloved 2004 film Mean Girls, with a swanky ‘You Can’t Sit With Us’ neon signed private booth.
Elsewhere, guests will find its popular 'I’m Jealous Of Me Too’ slogan, also in neon lights, with more blossom trees and flowers.
Jaloux’s new cocktail menu includes Pretty Pink Blossom; a rhubarb and cherry blossom martini made up of vodka, cherry blossom, rhubarb syrup and bitters, Boy Bye; blueberry liqueur topped with Prosecco and fresh blueberries, Haters Gonna Hate; Bacardi Carta Blanca, mango puree, guava juice and lime juice, Sorry I’m Taken; Bombay Sapphire, peach liqueur, lemon juice, Peychaud’s bitters and peach iced tea; and I’m Jealous of Me Too, which is made with Amaretto, cherry brandy, cranberry juice and fresh lime.

Guests must arrive before 12am and adhere to Jaloux’s usual dress code - "dress to impress" - to redeem their complimentary Pretty Pink Blossom cocktail.
