In February health food store Holland & Barrett recalled its hulled sesame seeds over salmonella. The same month saw Waitrose recall green pesto with basil over the gastrointestinal disease.
In March, Lidl issued a recall for its Alesto Californian roasted and salted pistachios for the same reason.
